The Ice Hockey Pucks (IHP) are used on the top of the lift's rubber pads mainly to protect plastic trim covers on rocker panels etc. They also provide better support and a better reach for indented lifting points (areas) typically seen on Porsche and other cars.
The set consists of four (4) Ice Hockey Pucks mounted to a 10 GA (3.5mm) thick powder coated steel base. The base is designed to fits perfectly over the lift's rubber pad.
Using the IHP will also provide additional space (gap) between the lift and the vehicle allowing you to detail and clean your rocker panels. The extra space between the car and the lift could also be utilized for storing and organizing your tools on the the lift's ramp, making your job safer and more pleasant since you won't have to look for tools scattered all over the area.
